Meet the new Shindaiwa DSRM-2400, a 56V battery-powered brushcutter designed for demanding users.
Available in both L-handle and U-handle versions, it combines robust construction, smooth power delivery and intuitive controls. From regular trimming to thicker grass and meadow work, the DSRM-2400 is built to handle a wide range of cutting tasks.
Built for more demanding work
At the heart of the DSRM-2400 is a brushless outer rotor motor delivering smooth, consistent power. Electronic speed regulation helps maintain a steady cutting speed throughout the battery runtime.
With a rated power output of 0.7 kW, it is ready for both everyday trimming and more demanding applications.
The DSRM-2400 is also blade-ready, with both trimmer line and blade shields included as standard.
Available in two configurations, you can choose the DSRM-2400L with loop handle or the DSRM-2400U with U-handle. The L version features an adjustable front handle, while the U version includes a convenient fixture for tool-free adjustment during transport and storage.
Both versions are built around a strong 25 mm single-piece main tube, shared with Shindaiwa professional-grade models. A scratch-resistant Alumite coating further protects the handle and main tube.
Control that feels simple
A 2-speed selector lets you adapt the machine to the task, while the variable-speed trigger gives you proportional control for precise cutting.
The clear LED control panel keeps the selected speed mode and battery status visible at a glance. A double-action safety system supports intuitive operation, while rubber-coated handles provide a comfortable, secure grip.
For quick line changes, the DSRM-2400 comes standard with Shindaiwa's Rapid-Loader 25 trimmer head. Cutting line can be refilled without disassembling the head.
It comes pre-loaded with robust 2.4 mm Bluetwist line, designed to enhance cutting efficiency while keeping noise low.
Choose the setup that works for you
As part of Shindaiwa's 56V battery platform, the DSRM-2400 can be paired with two battery options, allowing you to choose between lower weight and longer runtime.
With the LBP-56V125, runtime is up to 24 minutes in Low mode and 19 minutes in High mode.
For longer jobs, the LBP-56V250 extends runtime to up to 59 minutes in Low mode and 44 minutes in High mode.
