Introducing the Shindaiwa DPB-5900T
Meet the DPB-5900T, Shindaiwa’s first 56V X-Series battery-powered backpack blower. Designed for demanding professional applications, it combines powerful performance with a unique modular battery system, giving operators greater flexibility over how they work.
Consistent power for demanding work

Professional work demands consistent performance from start to finish. The DPB-5900T features MAXOUT™ battery technology, designed to maintain consistent power output as the batteries discharge.
With a maximum blowing force of 28 N, an air volume of 1,080 m³/h and a maximum air speed of 93 m/s, it delivers the performance needed for demanding clearing applications.
At the heart of the DPB-5900T is its industry-first triple battery port system. Operators can use one, two or three batteries simultaneously, adapting the configuration to the job.
Fewer batteries provide a lighter setup, while adding batteries extends runtime. The intelligent discharge management system uses the batteries simultaneously while prioritising those with the highest charge, helping make efficient use of the available battery capacity.
As part of Shindaiwa’s 56V battery system, the DPB-5900T also allows batteries to be shared across a wide range of Shindaiwa battery-powered tools.
Designed around the professional

The DPB-5900T combines performance with the comfort and control needed for intensive professional work.
A heavy-duty harness system features adjustable shoulder straps and an integrated chest strap. The over-moulded control handle provides enhanced comfort and control, while an integrated LED display keeps battery-level information visible to the operator.
A locking Turbo Mode button, stepless cruise control and variable-speed throttle make it easy to adjust performance according to the task.
Durability has also been built into the design. Reinforced components include a metal wear ring and Shindaiwa’s patented Posi-Loc™ tube system, providing a secure connection with wear adjustment.
The open protective frame helps protect the battery ports while also serving as an ergonomic carrying handle, and batteries can be quickly replaced when needed.
With IPX4 splash resistance, the DPB-5900T is designed to provide reliable performance in rain and wet conditions.
Maximum flexibility, part of the X-Series

Powerful, modular and designed for professional users, the DPB-5900T brings a new level of flexibility to Shindaiwa’s 56V battery range.
From its triple battery configuration and MAXOUT™ technology to its professional-grade construction, every element is designed to deliver consistent performance while giving operators greater control over runtime, weight and power.
